We all need goals in life. Something to strive for. I find that we gamers are the worse of all if we do not focus. We are bears of little brain that flock to the shiniest model that we see and bounce from project to project. So here are my goals:
- Get these Daemons done for Brawler Bash. I need to find time and just get them done. Here's is what I have remaining.
- Keeper of Secrets - If a plastic one does not come out soon I might have to buy the current model.
- 30 Daemonettes - The skin is basecoated and washed. Now to do the blues and yellows.
- 6 Seekers of Slaanesh - Same stage as the remaining Daemonettes.
- 10 Furies - I had a very creative idea with these, but in reality it didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. Instead, I am going with the Daemonettes with Tyranid Gargoyle wings. I have the models, but I need to assemble and convert. The plan is to have them on brass rod flying stands so they are at variable heights.
- Herald of Tzeentch - I know he isn't Slaanesh, but I am using the Avatars of War worm looking Sorceror. He is basecoated, I just need to finish the highlights.
- One of the large Slaaneshi Exalted chariots (they are just too cool not to assemble). It is currently sitting in a box.
- Maybe a block of 30 Horrors painted in the grey, blue, and yellow. They are assembled, but I want to make some regimental bases as they currently are a pain to rank up.
- Get a display board done for the Daemons. I have some great ideas in my head, but until I get the army done, this will have to wait.
- Paint up more terrain. You can never have too much terrain.
- Start up a Mordheim league in the Fall. Either hold it on a couple of Saturdays, or as part of Wednesday Game Night. Those who know me, know I love Mordheim. I found some affordable paper buildings over at Daves Games that would be perfect for a league.
- Finally, just get a game in once a month.
